ACCOUNTANT BY DAY

I’m an accountant living and working in Kansas City with my husband and our miniature schnauzer.  He works on houses.  At night we cook dinner together and watch whatever we have on TiVo that week.  We’re pretty exciting.

I enjoy accounting, but deep down I secretly wish I could be an independently wealthy writer with a cool pen name who works from home sometimes and bakes whenever she wants.  In New York.  I think the likelihood of that happening is slim, however.  So I have this blog instead, which is just as well since I am fickle and my attention shifts constantly anyway.

I like traveling, math, and Anthony Bourdain. And money.  And Alec Baldwin.

I hate fish bones, barbed wire, and wasps. And Reed Diamond. I hate Reed Diamond and his stupid head.

I also hate people who are no fun.
