Can She Bake A Cherry Pie?

Today I baked a pie to take with me for Thanksgiving.  To make myself feel better about making it from a can and using store-bought crust, I decided to try making a lattice-topped pie for the first time.  It wasn’t nearly as difficult as I expected it to be.  It was fun, actually.  It looks a lot fancier than any other pie I’ve made.  I learned how from Deb at Smitten Kitchen.  She’s my go-to for kitchen conundrums.
