CHICKEN THIEVES

Saturday I went to Best Buy with my boyfriend and I was looking at a variety of cheap, small digital cameras, including a Fuji Finepix something or other, and I was debating whether xD or SD would work with my laptop, and I flipped through the pictures stored on the camera and discovered a picture of someone I know! It was my favorite waiter at our favorite restaurant, the Caspian Bistro! There were two pictures and I looked at him closely to make sure, but I was pretty positive it was the same guy. Still, I called my boyfriend over to inspect the picture and he confirmed my conclusion. Interesting coincidences like this always make me feel really good, even if nothing really amazing happens because of them. It’s like getting a sneak peek at someone else outside the scope in which you normally know them, and they may or may not ever even know about this little connection. I don’t know that I will say anything to him next time I’m there, but I still think it’s pretty cool that even though the odds were that I would see a picture of a complete stranger in that camera, I saw somebody I already know. Although I still don’t think I’m going to buy the camera, since it has xD and I’m pretty sure my laptop takes SD.
I am having some issues with keeping food in the breakroom. I just went to the group refrigerator in the breakroom and found that my two yogurts are still there, but my bag is not. Yes, someone has disposed of my brown paper bag, although it appears that they at least left its contents behind. This is a total mystery to me. The bag wasn’t gross or anything, just a small, brown paper sack labeled with my name. So why mess with the bag if you weren’t going to mess with the food inside it? Sacks don’t seem to be against any type of regulation since I’m sure I’ve seen other paper bags in there. I put my yogurts in the plastic bag I brought today, with my V8, my orange, and the leftovers from my yesterday’s rotisserie chicken. Thinking about my yogurts, I checked and found that it’s a good damn thing I brought that new chicken today because the half package of Tyson chicken chunks that I left in there after eating the first half of the package is GONE. But the little styrofoam container of my Chinese sauce that was left over from last week and which I hadn’t thrown away yet was still there. Why throw away good chicken and not a yucky container of sauce? Is this the work of a thief, or some after hours cleanup person? WHY DID THEY TAKE AWAY MY CHICKEN?
