ACCOUNTANT BY DAY

I’m beginning to suspect that our transfer girl only brings up Amityville because she knows how much I hate hearing about it, which has made it more fun because I can respect a motive based on teasing another person more than I can a motive based on being dumb. Luckily, I discovered that she hates it when I talk to her in an exaggerated gay German voice, so I have an ace in the hole. “Ach, auf Wiedersehen, honey!” I called after her as she left today. I gotta brush up on some basic German so I can torment her further. I know I have a little phrasebook around somewhere from high school.

I had a dream this morning that I was taking a nap but then I woke up and was still tired and decided to go to bed even though it was early in the evening. In my dream I was all ready to lie down for the night, and was feeling great because I was getting to go to sleep all early and I knew I’d feel great in the morning. I was soooo tired. Then I woke up from my dream just as I was about to drift off to sleep, and saw to my confusion that in real life it was 20 minutes till my alarm and that it was all a terrible lie. It really pissed me off because at first I thought I was actually waking up for some reason, and that the dream was real so I’d be able to go back to sleep for another eight hours or whatever. LIES ALL LIES!
