ACCOUNTANT BY DAY

It was a really slow day at work, so I passed the time by going through my new book about drawing. At work I drew two sharks, a squid, and a stick squirrel. Later in the evening I drew a picture of a kangaroo rat for my boyfriend, who was in a bad mood. “You see he is bounding around,” I told him. I could tell he felt a lot better because of it.

I filed a claim for my accounting textbook this morning, because even after a second e-mail yesterday, ROCCO262 didn’t answer my query about WTF IS GOING ON.

Hi, I e-mailed you yesterday morning to ask about the textbook you sold me a month ago, which I still have not received. Please let me know what is going on. I need to know if I am going to get the book, and if so, whether it will be in the next business day or so. If not, we need to address this situation immediately because I am going to fail my class without the textbook. Please get back in touch with me as quickly as you can. I am very anxious to resolve this situation so that I can salvage a grade out of my class.

I just hope I can get a refund for it, because I had to order another book today, which cost $160, about like I’d expected after the rush shipping.

My friend from my Japanese classes at KU drunk dialed me last night. Actually it was his roommate. It was all crazy because I hadn’t heard from him in forever and I thought he was in Japan. I guess I was wrong!
