What’s Good for the Goose is Good for the Gander

I got a new cell phone this week. It has Prince of Persia on it, of all games. I never played it before, but I’m finding out that it’s a very difficult and relatively unrewarding game. I’m not good at jumping over spikes and things. The sultan’s womens keep disrespecting me when I rescue them after each level. One of them was very fat and bitchy. It made me want to jump and glide and cut off her fat rolls with my knife.

Today it’s two weeks from Thanksgiving. My roommate and I are planning to have our own Thanksgiving at home this year, so I guess I should start planning what to make. I should do everything on a pretty small scale, but I still want to end up with about 2-3 days’ worth of leftovers because Thanksgiving leftovers are the best kind. I’d rather have turkey than ham, I think. I’ve always kind of wanted to try goose because I’ve never had it, but I was told it’s greasy and also you always hear about people having a Christmas goose, not a Thanksgiving goose. As in, Tiny Tim beat the Christmas goose with his cripple stick. So maybe if we have Christmas here too, I’ll make a Christmas goose.

If I ever get a dog I want a terrier most of all. The kind of terrier I want is a miniature Schnauzer. We had one once when I was a kid and it was the best dog ever until he ran away. I liked him a lot because he was nice and easy to hold and carry around and patient and didn’t jump and bark a lot. He was even nice to cats. That’s a fine dog.
