Holmes, Sherlock Holmes

I had a nice weekend. It was the first Saturday I’ve had off in a couple months, and it was a real treat not to be throwing cash at the customers all day for a change even though I had to write a paper and do a lot of homework and studying. I made two decisions this weekend.

  1. I’m going to become a tea enthusiast. I think tea is among the most aesthetically pleasing beverages, I like to drink it, and it smells good. Also I like the word enthusiast. So it makes sense. I want to buy loose tea that comes in little tins, and I want to line the tins up in the kitchen cabinet so that I can see how nice they look when I open it. Either that or I plan to purchase little matching cannisters or containers to keep the tea in, in case I buy from different companies whose tins won’t match. I think black tea is going to be my thing, so I want to try a lot of varieties. I like the name Darjeeling, so I think I’ll start with that. I’m going to read about tea and figure out what sort of equipment I need. I want to pick and choose carefully, because I love things that match, and if I plan it carefully then all my tea accessories will seem like they belong together.
  2. It would be interesting to be a detective when I grow up.
